December 2021. Ava and David (AVID) bring home first place at the Siteman Cancer Center Research Symposium poster session

Our fantastic research dream team, Ava and David, presented their current work on how loss of the SMC5/6 complex sensitizes leukemia cells to APOBEC3A activity at the Siteman Cancer Center Research Symposium poster session. Out of twenty presenters, the duo were awarded first place for their poster! The Green lab is extremely proud of their hard work, ability to color coordinate, and dedication to this project. We would like to thank the organizers of the symposium for putting on an amazing event, as well as our collaborators within the Center for Genome Integrity and the Bednarski lab for their continued support for this project.
