January 2023 - The Green lab takes flight and attends the 4th annual Deaminet conference in sunny Palms Springs, CA.

We joined investigators from across the globe in Palms Springs, CA for the 4th annual International Conference on Base Editing Enzymes and Applications - Deaminet 2023. While there, we were immersed in the latests and greatest developments in the fields of deaminases and base editing technologies, and heard many amazing talks including from Dr. David Liu, Dr. Waseem Qasim, Dr. Rueben Harris, and the Green lab’s own Dr. Abby Green.

Jess and team AVID were also selected to present posters during the poster session which led to great discussion and insights from attendees. We would like to thank the organizers for putting on a wonderful conference, and we cannot wait for next year’s conference. Please enjoy the photos below - we even met Marilyn Monroe!
